And now Chuck Schumer has been accused of a sickening act by this female colleague.
Senator Katie Britt (R-AL) delivered a scathing critique of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) during a recent interview, accusing him of withholding critical briefings on terrorist threats last year to shield Vice President Kamala Harris during the election season.
Speaking with CNN’s Jake Tapper on *State of the Union*, Britt highlighted the urgency of the matter and lamented the Democrats’ lack of transparency.
The discussion followed the tragic New Year’s Day terrorist attack in New Orleans that claimed more than a dozen lives.
Britt did not hold back in connecting the dots between current threats and what she called the “failures” of the Biden administration’s foreign policies.
“When you rewind to where this came from, in my opinion, this is a direct result of Biden’s failed policies across the world,” she asserted.
She specifically pointed to the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan, which she argued left a vacuum for groups like ISIS-K to thrive.
Reflecting on Republicans’ previous attempts to address the issue with Schumer, Britt stated:
“Our conversations surrounding that and our request of Senator Schumer was, make sure that we understand this, so that we can do everything that we need to.”
She emphasized the gravity of the situation by citing FBI Director Christopher Wray’s stark warning about “blinking lights everywhere.”
“This is something we have to take seriously,” Britt urged.
“We cannot allow these things to happen on American soil.”
She underscored the importance of equipping law enforcement and federal agencies with the tools necessary to combat such threats, pledging continued efforts to push for answers and action.

he claimed his actions were politically motivated, stating that he likely withheld the information to prevent damaging leaks during “the election cycle.”
