Democrats are in a tailspin after Marco Rubio dropped a massive truth bomb on them

The Left plays fast and loose with the facts. But they can’t escape this time.

Now Democrats are in a tailspin after Marco Rubio dropped a massive truth bomb on them.

Hypocrisy in Free Speech Debates

Secretary of State Marco Rubio didn’t hold back when he took a swipe at those rallying behind pro-Hamas activist Mahmoud Khalil, accusing them of hiding behind the First Amendment while conveniently forgetting their past crusades for online censorship.

Rubio unloaded his thoughts during a Sunday sit-down on CBS News’ “Face The Nation,” hosted by Margaret Brennan.

The topic came up after Khalil’s arrest by federal immigration authorities two weeks prior, sparking a heated debate.

“I find it ironic that a lot of these people out there defending the First Amendment speech, alleged free speech rights of these Hamas sympathizers they had no problem, okay, pressuring social media to censor American political speech,” Rubio said, his tone dripping with skepticism.

“So I think it’s ironic and hypocritical.” His jab zeroed in on the double standards he sees playing out, calling out the flip-flop with no hesitation.

A Hard Line on Terrorist Sympathizers

Rubio didn’t stop there, doubling down with a blunt take on what it means to let certain individuals into the country.

“But the bottom line is this, if you are in this country to promote Hamas, to promote terrorist organizations, to participate in vandalism, to participate in acts of rebellion and riots on campus, we never would have let you in if we had known that,” he continued.

“And now that we know it, you’re going to leave.”

He made it crystal clear: if you’re here stirring up trouble or backing groups like Hamas, your welcome’s officially worn out. It’s a stance that leaves little room for debate, aimed squarely at those who’ve crossed the line from guest to threat.

Protecting America’s Safety First

Rubio pushed back hard against critics trying to thwart the administration’s efforts to bolster national safety by deporting risky individuals.

“We don’t want terrorists in America,” he stated flatly.

“I don’t know how hard that is to understand. We want people – we don’t want people in our country that are going to be committing crimes and undermining our national security or the public safety. It’s that simple especially people that are here as guests. That is what a visa is.”

His remarks underscored a no-nonsense approach, drawing a firm line between welcoming visitors and tolerating threats—a distinction he believes should be obvious to anyone paying attention. For Rubio, it’s about keeping the nation secure, no apologies needed.
