There is no love lost between Joe and Kamala. They’ve chosen their sides.
But now explosive rift between Biden and Harris could sink Kamala’s campaign.
It wasn’t long ago that Joe Biden commanded the attention of everyone in the media.
Granted, it was usually due to a gaffe or a tumble he took on stage, but at least he was in the limelight.
Then, Kamala Harris stripped that away from him within days.
Now the Democrats are trying to pretend that everything is fine and Kamala and Joe are best of friend.
But that’s not what Kamala’s doing.
Vice President Kamala Harris seems to be doing everything she can to distance herself from the sinking ship that is the Biden administration, as reports confirm she has no plans to campaign in-person with President Biden in the crucial weeks leading up to Election Day.
It appears Harris is trying to save herself from the political fallout of Biden’s disastrous presidency, and the White House is going along with it.
According to NBC News, Harris is avoiding appearances with Biden, a telling sign of her lack of confidence in the administration she’s been a part of.
Despite leading within the Biden administration for years, Harris is now trying to rebrand herself as a “change” candidate, as if voters will somehow forget her direct involvement in the policies that have harmed the country.
She continues to claim that a Harris presidency would not be “a continuation of the Biden presidency,” as if her role as his second-in-command could be easily erased.
In an exclusive interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier, Harris attempted to explain how she would be different from Biden, stating, “My presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency… I represent a new generation of leadership.”
But her vague promises of “fresh and new ideas” ring hollow when she has been deeply embedded in the very administration she now seems eager to disassociate from.
Harris also made a weak attempt to suggest that she’s not part of the Washington establishment, claiming:
“I am someone who has not spent the majority of my career in Washington, D.C.”
However, her time as vice president has shown that her policies and priorities align closely with the D.C. political elite.
Meanwhile, former President Trump is rightly pointing out that Harris is nothing more than a continuation of Biden’s failed policies on the economy and immigration.
Voters know that a Harris presidency would likely deliver more of the same, and it’s no surprise that Trump continues to lead in polls on these critical issues.
