Tester minced no words, saying, “The Biden Administration’s decision to strip critical funding from local schools is just another example of one-size-fits-all policies from Washington bureaucrats who don’t understand Montana.”
This is yet another chapter in Biden’s long-running disaster—using federal overreach to push progressive ideology on states that simply want to prioritize their people over politics.
The Montana senator rightly demanded that Biden’s Department of Education reverse this decision immediately, pointing out that students should never be held hostage to some Washington concoction of “diversity” over merit.
Biden’s blind pursuit of DEI hiring practices has taken a clear toll on local schools, while Kamala Harris sits by, doing nothing to fix these misguided priorities.
Tester, who is desperately trying to distance himself from Biden and Harris, particularly in a state where their names are political poison, knows he’s walking on thin ice.
In a competitive re-election race against Republican candidate Tim Sheehy, a former Navy SEAL, Tester is now trying to appear like a champion of Montana, while voters are seeing right through his last-minute about-face on Biden’s policies.
The truth is, Tester’s been all in on the far-left agenda until now.
The Biden DOE’s rejection of Montana’s GEAR UP grant—citing the bogus excuse of inadequate diversity hiring details—wasn’t just a blunder.
It’s a glimpse into the deeply flawed, woke culture that Biden and Harris have unleashed on the country.
This decision is “embarrassing” for the DOE, but more so for Tester, who is now scrambling to save his political career after voting with Biden and Harris nearly 95% of the time.
Let’s not forget, Tester’s office hasn’t even gotten a response from Biden’s DOE after reaching out weeks ago. But are we surprised?
The Biden administration’s priorities are so misplaced that it’s hard to believe Montana’s students are anywhere on their radar.
Tim Sheehy’s campaign didn’t hesitate to call out Tester’s hypocrisy, pointing to his votes in lockstep with Biden’s radical agenda, from supporting race-based farming assistance to backing AOC’s Green New Deal.
“Two-Faced Tester is doing the Tester Two-Step,” they said, highlighting his sudden attempt to distance himself from Biden and Harris just to secure re-election.
And let’s not forget about Kamala Harris, who has been Tester’s silent accomplice in promoting these far-left policies.
While Tester avoids endorsing her, there’s no hiding the fact that he helped bring her into the political fold back in 2015. His calculated silence speaks volumes.
Montana voters should see through Tester’s sudden shift. After years of siding with Biden and Harris, his newfound opposition to their reckless policies seems more like political theater than genuine concern for Montana.
