Psaki’s career took a nosedive after being cut as Biden’s press secretary. Now she’s grasping at straws.
And she’s in deep trouble after her unhinged assault against JD Vance’s wife.
Psaki’s Podcast Remarks Ignite Firestorm
Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, a key figure in the Biden administration, has stirred controversy with pointed comments about Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha, during a recent episode of the “I’ve Had It” podcast.
Psaki labeled Vance “scarier” than President Donald Trump and suggested Usha might be in distress.
“I think the little Manchurian candidate, JD Vance, wants to be president more than anything else,” Psaki said. “I always wonder what’s going on in the mind of his wife. Like, are you OK? Please blink four times. We’ll come over here. We’ll save you.”
She added, “And that he’s willing to do anything to get there. And your whole iteration you just outlined, I mean, he’s scarier in certain ways, in some ways. And he’s young and ambitious and agile in the sense that he’s a chameleon who makes himself whatever he thinks the audience wants to hear from him.” The podcast’s description echoed the jab, stating, “Usha Vance, please blink twice if you need help.”

Social Media Slams Psaki’s Remarks
The backlash on social media was swift and fierce. Users across platforms called out Psaki’s comments as condescending and hypocritical.
“Nothing baffles the liberal women more than a happy marriage,” one user remarked. Fox News contributor Joe Concha was blunt, stating, “Not a good person. At all.”
Another commenter highlighted the double standard: “For the party that supposedly champions feminism, they sure talk down to women on the other side.” Libs of TikTok piled on, declaring, “MSNBC should be ashamed to pay her salary.”
Conservative pundit Jack Posobiec noted Usha’s current role, saying, “Usha is accompanying JD right now in Israel securing the Gaza Peace Deal. Absolutely disgusting comments.”
White House Fires Back
White House Communications Director Steven Cheung didn’t hold back in his response on X, accusing Psaki of projecting her own issues. He wrote that Psaki “must be transferring her own personal issues onto others.”
Cheung continued, “[Psaki] is a dumb-ss who has no comprehension of the truth and has to overcompensate for her lack of talent by saying untrue things.”
He capped it off with a nod to Psaki’s past press secretary catchphrase: “Circle back on that, moron.”
