Pentagon on red alert over this high level terror threat

The world has crumbled into the chaos under the Biden/Harris admin. The U.S. is less safe because of their poor leadership.

And now the Pentagon is on red alert over this high level terror threat.

Fleets of mysterious drones, possibly of foreign origin, have been spotted conducting surveillance over some of America’s most sensitive military sites. Despite extensive investigations, the Pentagon admits it is struggling to stop these aerial intrusions, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.

Over the past year, drones have been sighted over key military installations in Virginia and Nevada, including Naval Station Norfolk, the world’s largest naval port, and the secret base for the Navy’s elite SEAL Team Six. The presence of these drones has raised serious concerns about potential foreign espionage, yet federal laws prevent the military from taking direct action to neutralize them.

The Pentagon’s hands are tied due to legal and practical constraints. Current regulations prohibit shooting down drones unless they pose an imminent threat, which surveillance does not. Even jamming the drones’ signals, a potential countermeasure, was ruled out during high-level White House meetings due to concerns it could disrupt vital infrastructure like 911 systems, WiFi networks, and commercial airliners.

With these restrictions in place, the U.S. military has limited options to counter the drones, leaving officials frustrated. Some suspect the drones could be part of an intelligence operation by foreign adversaries such as Russia or China. Former U.S. Air Force General Mark Kelly first became aware of the sightings in December 2023 when drones were seen flying over Langley Air Force Base in Virginia.

Langley is home to the advanced F-22 Raptor fighter jets, a key asset in U.S. air superiority. The drones, which appeared in swarms over a 17-day period, were believed to be spying on these military assets. But since the drones did not present an immediate danger, the military could not take direct action against them. Meanwhile, attempts to track the drones using conventional methods failed, as local police lost sight of them during nighttime chases.

Complicating matters further, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) warned that any attempt to jam the drones’ signals could interfere with commercial air traffic, especially during the busy holiday travel season. As a result, the military has been left with little recourse, and by December 23, the drones had disappeared without any clear answers as to their origin or purpose.

The sophistication of the drone operations, involving multiple devices flying in coordination, suggests that these are not the work of amateur enthusiasts. Authorities were finally given a clue in January 2024 when a Chinese student at the University of Minnesota, Fengyun Shi, was caught flying a drone near Langley Air Force Base. The student’s drone had gotten stuck in a tree, and when it was recovered, investigators discovered that it had taken photos of Navy ships docked at the base.

Shi, 26, was arrested a week later as he attempted to board a one-way flight to China. Prosecutors charged him with unlawfully taking photographs of classified naval installations, marking the first case involving a drone used for espionage. Despite his attorney’s defense that Shi was merely a student flying a drone for fun, he later pleaded guilty to the charges in October.

“If he was a foreign agent, he would be the worst spy ever known,” Shi’s attorney, Shaoming Cheng, told The Wall Street Journal. But the case has heightened concerns about how foreign powers might be using drones to gather sensitive military intelligence.

In addition to the incidents in Virginia, similar swarms of drones were also observed over Edwards Air Force Base in Nevada, another key military facility.

However, the Defense Department has yet to make any official statement regarding the identity of those behind the drones or their motives.

As the Pentagon continues to grapple with these aerial intrusions, the mystery remains unsolved, and questions linger about the implications for national security.

Biden/Harris Admin’s Weak Foreign Policy Strengthening Our Adversaries

There’s no doubt that America’s reputation has been weakened under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s leadership.

Their poor foreign policy decisions, particularly the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, have given the United States’s enemies strength and confidence.

Obviously that’s a major concern as violent conflicts throughout the world continue to wage on.

And using drones to spy on U.S. Military bases is only the beginning unless America can get better leadership that will help re-strengthen the nation.
