Democrats are always pointing fingers at the Republican Party. It’s one of their favorite things to do.
And the GOP is accused of election cheating by a disgraced Democrat live on CNN.
During a revealing appearance on Tuesday’s episode of CNN’s The Source, Sen. Andy Kim of New Jersey showed exactly why so many Americans have lost faith in Democrat leadership.
The senator wasted no time accusing Republicans of scheming to rig future elections rather than addressing urgent needs at the Department of Homeland Security.
Host Kaitlan Collins raised a critical point about international conflicts and their ripple effects on our own soil.
“If this war in the Middle East, with Iran, and what we’ve seen, has raised the threat level here at home for Americans, wouldn’t it be better to have a fully funded Department of Homeland Security in this moment?” she inquired.
Kim responded by touting Democrat efforts while slamming the other side.
“Well, look, what we do need is to make sure that we are funding all of these different elements, like CISA, that engages in our cybersecurity lead, TSA, as we hear from so many Americans, we have pushed that forward. The Democrats in the Senate, we have pushed forward an effort to fully fund TSA, no other restrictions upon that,” he said.
“We have put forward legislation that would fully fund CISA, fully fund our cybersecurity operations, that’s what the Republicans right now are opposing. And, instead, what are they spending this week doing? Not focused on the war, not focused on lowering costs, but continuing to push this lie about voter fraud that is all about trying to, basically, rig the election going forward for Donald Trump, as he said, that this is their way of winning the midterm elections and elections for years and years to come.”
“They’re not focused on what it is that the American people want. So, if they want to open up Homeland Security, they want to open up CISA, FEMA, TSA, we have put forward that legislation. Let us vote on it.”
This tirade from Kim highlights a dangerous pattern among Democrats in power.
They twist concerns over election integrity into accusations of wrongdoing by their opponents.
The truth is that protecting the vote is not some sideshow but the foundation of our entire system.
Americans across the heartland know all too well the importance of keeping elections fair and transparent.
Yet Kim and his party would rather fund government agencies without any oversight or reforms.
Their push for unrestricted money to TSA and CISA ignores the real failures these departments have shown time after time.
With dangers escalating overseas, our leaders should focus on genuine solutions instead of partisan attacks.
The average working family wants action on costs, security, and honest government.
Kim’s comments only prove that Democrats are more interested in holding onto power than in delivering the safe and secure nation the people deserve.
