White House press conference descends into chaos after a reporter asks one question

The media and the President’s cabinet are sparring once again. But Trump’s people have the upper-hand.

Now a White House press conference descended into chaos after a reporter asks one question.

Stephen Miller Schools Corporate Media on Constitution and Democracy

White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller delivered a two-minute civics lesson to corporate media figures during Thursday’s White House press briefing, setting the record straight on how government actually works.

For years, Democrats and their media allies have smeared President Donald Trump as a “threat” to democracy. Now, they’re targeting Tesla CEO and Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) chairman Elon Musk, calling him an “unelected” bureaucrat. Miller wasn’t having any of it.

Miller Educates the Media on Basic Civics

During the briefing, Gateway Pundit reporter Jordan Conradson asked Miller about the media’s role in pushing these narratives. Miller wasted no time exposing their ignorance.

“You’re tempting me to say some very harsh things about some of our media friends,” Miller said. “Yes, it is true that many of the people in this room, for four years, failed to cover the fact that Joe Biden was mentally incompetent and was not running the country.”

Miller then took direct aim at those attacking Musk’s role in the administration, breaking down exactly how the government functions.

“It is also true that many people in this room who have used this talking point that Elon [Musk] is not elected fail to understand how government works, so I am glad for the opportunity for a brief civics lesson,” Miller explained.

“A president is elected by the whole American people, he is the only official in the entire government that is elected by the entire nation, right? Judges are appointed, members of Congress are elected at the district and state level, just one man in the Constitution, Article II, has a clause, known as the vesting clause, and it says that the executive power shall be vested in a president. Singular. The whole will of democracy is imbued into the elected president. That president then appoints staff to then impose that democratic will on to the government.”

The Real Threat to Democracy? The Deep State.

Miller then turned the tables, exposing the true danger to American democracy—unelected bureaucrats who refuse to carry out the will of the voters.

“The threat to democracy, the existential threat to democracy, is the unelected bureaucracy of lifetime-tenured civil servants who believe they answer to no one, who believe they can do whatever they want without consequence, who believe they can set their own agenda, no matter what Americans vote for,” he said.

He cited real-world examples of bureaucrats defying the people’s will.

“So, Americans vote for radical FBI reform, and FBI agents say they don’t want to change. Or Americans vote for radical reform under energy policies that EPA bureaucrats say they don’t want to change. Or Americans vote to end DEI, racist DEI policies, and lawyers at the Department of Justice say they don’t want to change.”

Miller made it clear that President Trump is taking decisive action to clean house.

“What President Trump is doing is he is removing federal bureaucrats who are defying democracy by failing to implement his lawful orders, which are the will of the whole American people. Thank you.”

FBI Abuses Prove Miller’s Point

The FBI has been caught red-handed abusing its power to target Trump and his allies. A 2022 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) opinion confirmed that the FBI improperly used the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) to spy on a U.S. senator and other officials, following a petition from the ACLU, according to Just The News.

The FBI also weaponized FISA to monitor Trump campaign aide Carter Page, using the now-discredited Steele Dossier—an opposition research hit piece funded by Democrats—to justify their actions.

Media’s Russia Collusion Hoax Collapses

For years, MSNBC and other left-wing media outlets breathlessly pushed the debunked Russian collusion narrative, citing the fraudulent Steele Dossier. They spent Trump’s first term trying to delegitimize his presidency, despite zero evidence of wrongdoing.

Miller’s remarks made it clear: the real threat to democracy isn’t Trump or Musk—it’s the deep-state bureaucrats and their media allies who refuse to accept the will of the American people.
