President Joe Biden did not even come close to reaching his goal of at least partially vaccinating 70% of Americans by July 4. Naturally, much of the blame has been put on the Republicans and former President Donald Trump for subscribing to conspiracy theories and refusing to help protect their fellow Americans by taking a jab for the team. After Biden’s suggestion to go door-to-door backfired, the administration now recommends monitoring private text messages to make sure there are no “misinformation” communications being spread around.
“The White House has decided to hit back harder on misinformation and scare tactics after Republican lawmakers and conservative activists pledged to fight the administration’s stated plans to go ‘door-to-door’ to increase vaccination rates. The pushback will include directly calling out social media platforms and conservative news shows that promote such tactics.”
White House spokesperson Kevin Munoz reiterated the plans, saying, “When we see deliberate efforts to spread misinformation, we view that as an impediment to the country’s public health and will not shy away from calling that out.” The Biden administration and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) are among the groups “planning to engage fact-checkers more aggressively and work with SMS [Short Message Service] carriers to dispel misinformation about vaccines sent over social media and text messages,” according to Politico. How they hope to implement this and the details on punishment for saying anything contrary to the left’s narrative were not yet revealed at the time of this writing.
It’s the Republicans, you see, who are stalling the process, and all because they refuse to take an experimental drug that hasn’t been tested for long-term effects. But are they wrong? Politico even pointed out that ten of the states with the lowest vaccination rates were won by Trump in the latest election. The White House and Democrats assert that the territories with the least vaccinated individuals are Republican-led states, who are pushing the “misinformation” theories to their constituents.
Dr. Anthony Fauci claimed that 99.5% of deaths due to COVID were the unvaccinated. Fear of the conspiracies is being blamed on those who refuse the shot. Yet, with headlines such as NBC 10 Boston’s “79 People Dead, 303 Hospitalized in Mass. Breakthrough Cases: Report” linking deaths and illness to those who were fully vaccinated, is it any wonder some people are still skeptical? According to the Boston Herald, “As of June 19, a total of 3,907 breakthrough cases had been reported to the DPH. On that date, nearly 4.1 million Bay State residents were fully vaccinated.” And that’s just for one state.
The “known” side effects are another deterrent. Now that people have been vaccinated for at least a couple of months, adverse reactions are starting to pop up – we’re not talking about the sniffles and a sore arm. Blood clots, heart problems, and even death have been linked to getting the COVID jab. And these are just the cases we know about. As Liberty Nation’s Pennel Bird pointed out:
“To provide perspective, there are more deaths attributed to the COVID vaccines in six months than all other vaccines combined since 2012. And if a 2010 study by Harvard University is correct and fewer than 1% of vaccine injuries are reported to VAERS, then the actual number of COVID vaccine deaths could be far worse.”
Is this refusal to vaccinate just a huge conspiracy theory, or are people doing their due diligence? The short-term side effects are scary enough; who knows what will show up in five, ten, or 20 years from now? Social media giants have worked hard to quell any opposition to the left’s narrative. Posts, pages, and people have been blocked and banned if they dare to contradict or offer a differing opinion, such as the dangers of getting the coronavirus vaccine. So, is it really any surprise that the Democrat-ruled government wants to spy on our private text messages to make sure we aren’t conversing with friends and families about our thoughts on COVID and vaccinations? If they are allowed to do this, what is next?
