Leftist Senator sent into hiding after getting absolutely embarrassed online

The Democrats aren’t taking their election defeats very well. They’re lashing out in the most ridiculous ways.

And this Leftist Senator was sent into hiding after getting absolutely embarrassed online.

In a recent post on social media, Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) tried to cast doubt on U.S. Army veteran Pete Hegseth’s qualifications, questioning his suitability as President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for Secretary of Defense.

However, her criticisms quickly backfired when a wave of responses highlighted Hegseth’s impressive credentials and military accomplishments.

Warren voiced her disapproval of Hegseth’s nomination on X, where she implied that his role as a co-host on Fox News’ Fox & Friends Weekend was his only major credential. “A Fox & Friends weekend co-host is not qualified to be the Secretary of Defense,” she wrote. “I lead the Senate military personnel panel. All three of my brothers served in uniform. I respect every one of our servicemembers. Donald Trump’s pick will make us less safe and must be rejected.”

But responses to Warren’s post were quick to challenge her narrow portrayal of Hegseth. Hegseth’s record includes not just time on television but also two decades of service in the U.S. Army, where he earned two Bronze Stars and served multiple tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Guantanamo Bay.

Additionally, Hegseth has degrees from Princeton and Harvard and has remained active with veterans’ organizations since his service.

Evan Berryhill responded pointedly: “You left out some of his resume: 20 years of military service. 2 bronze stars. Degrees from Princeton and Harvard. Active with veterans organizations since leaving active duty. You can go ahead and sit this one out, Senator.”

Others echoed this sentiment, highlighting Hegseth’s dedication and experience.

Sean Davis from The Federalist didn’t mince words in his response either. “Pete Hegseth is a 20-year military veteran, a decorated combat veteran, a recipient of the Bronze Star (2x), and graduated from both Harvard and Princeton. You falsely claimed to be an Indian to get a job you couldn’t get on the merits. Sit down, Pocahontas,” he posted.

Another user criticized Warren for omitting key elements of Hegseth’s service, linking this approach to the sentiment many believe cost the Democrats support in the recent election.

“Characterizing him as simply a Fox News host is a despicable lie of omission. This bulls*** is why your party was wiped out in the election. Are you all not capable of learning anything, or do you plan to just keep imploding?”

Writer Margot Cleveland pointed out the apparent contradiction in Warren’s critique, stating, “By framing veteran and double bronze-star recipient Pete Hegseth as ‘weekend co-host,’ you prove you don’t respect everyone one of our servicemembers.”

In addition to his Bronze Stars, Hegseth holds the Combat Infantryman’s Badge (CIB), a distinction awarded to soldiers in infantry or Special Forces units who have faced enemy fire in ground combat.

He continues to serve in the Minnesota National Guard’s Inactive Ready Reserve (IRR), underscoring his commitment to his country and to his fellow servicemembers.

Through these responses, Hegseth’s supporters made clear that his service and sacrifices extend far beyond the Fox News studio, a point Warren may not have fully anticipated.
