And a CNN analyst uttered a disgusting claim about President Trump.
In a shocking display of unhinged rhetoric, CNN analyst Bakari Sellers crossed into dangerous territory by labeling President Donald Trump as a “cancer” and implying that his loyal voters must be wiped out entirely from America.
This explosive outburst happened during a panel discussion led by former CNN host Don Lemon, who was fired amid his own controversies. Sellers didn’t hold back, pushing a narrative that reeks of elite disdain for everyday Americans who back the MAGA movement.
Sellers started by framing Joe Biden’s presidency as nothing more than a temporary fix. “You know, Joe Biden was somewhat of a bridge, he was supposed to be a bridge,” he said, painting Biden as a stepping stone away from Trump’s era.
He went on to describe Biden as a mild alternative to Trump’s bold style. “A palate cleanser, or somebody who morally and ethically was antithetical to who Donald Trump was,” Sellers added, trying to sell the idea that Biden was the ethical high ground.
To drive his point home, Sellers leaned into a folksy image of Biden. “You know, Uncle Joe was the nice guy, an older white guy comes in and you want to eat ice cream with him, right?” he quipped, as if that charm alone could erase Trump’s massive appeal.
But Sellers quickly admitted that this strategy flopped hard when Trump stormed back to victory in 2024.
Instead of admitting Biden’s failures or Kamala Harris’s weak campaign, he doubled down on blaming Trump’s unbreakable support base.
This is where Sellers veered off the rails, calling for extreme actions to purge the nation of MAGA influence. He compared Trump voters to pests infesting the country, demanding a total cleanse.
“I think what that episode in our country’s history showed us is that we really need some fumigation, right? We need a — a — exorcism, for lack of a better term,” Sellers declared, evoking images of supernatural evil or bug extermination applied to fellow citizens.
He didn’t stop there, escalating his attack by urging a “more aggressive approach” to eliminate what he sees as a threat.
“We need a more aggressive approach to go in and surgically remove the cancer that is the Donald Trump and MAGA movement,” he stated bluntly.
Comments like these from Sellers expose the deep-seated hatred bubbling up from the left-wing media elite.
They can’t stomach that millions of hardworking Americans chose Trump because he fights for borders, jobs, and national pride.
It’s no surprise this came on a show hosted by Don Lemon, whose own CNN tenure ended in scandal.
These talking heads live in a bubble, far removed from the real struggles of red-state families who see Trump as their champion.
