Former GOP Rep. goes off on President Trump on CNN

The tables have turned. Things are getting messy between Republicans and Trump.

And a former GOP Rep. went off on President Trump on CNN.

Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene lit up the airwaves on CNN this Monday with some straight talk that left jaws on the floor.

She zeroed in on President Donald Trump’s recent social media activity, insisting it was time to take a hard look at his mental stability.

The discussion kicked off when host Kaitlan Collins quizzed her about the imagery in Trump’s post.

Greene left no doubt where she stood, declaring, “No absolutely not. I thought that was blasphemy. As a Christian, I was very offended. And and a doctor, President Trump is not a doctor. And that picture had him in a robe as Jesus is often portrayed with light coming out of his hands.”

“And he talked about, healing people like a Red Cross worker. I think there would be many people that would argue with that, you know, saving lives. So I think it was blasphemy. I was offended. I think he should apologize.”

Those words carry weight coming from a dedicated Christian and longtime Trump supporter like Greene.

The picture in question showed Trump dressed in a way that mimicked religious icons, complete with rays of light from his hands, while he claimed some sort of healing role.

For millions of believers across the heartland, this crossed a sacred line that no leader should touch.

But Greene’s critique went deeper than just the visual stunt.

Collins followed up by noting Greene’s explosive reply to the post mentioning an entire civilization facing destruction.

She had blasted back with all-caps demands for the 25th Amendment, complete with triple exclamation points.

When asked if she truly believed the president should be removed, Greene replied, “I think we have to really question the mental stability of any president that threatens to wipe out an entire civilization of people. That would include all the innocent people in that country that have nothing to do with the war, especially after President Trump said this was about freeing the Iranian people from the Iranian regime. So for him to call to wipe out an entire civilization of people is absolutely wrong.”

Her stance highlights a core principle for everyday Americans who want peace for the innocent while targeting true threats.

Threatening mass destruction doesn’t align with freeing people from tyranny or putting our nation first.

Even the most loyal voices in the movement are calling on Trump to own this mistake and issue an apology to get things back on track.
