Fox News is usually rather friendly towards the Trump admin. But not this time.
As a Fox News host put JD Vance on blast with these shocking statements.
During a recent edition of Fox Business Network’s “Kudlow,” veteran host Larry Kudlow delivered a pointed message to JD Vance.
Kudlow urged the vice president to pause and reconsider his recent direction.
He called for Vance to undertake what he described as “a great reset of his policy priorities, his statements, and his own actions.”
Kudlow pulled no punches after reviewing several critical reports about the vice president.
The veteran commentator expressed genuine bafflement at some of Vance’s recent public remarks. In particular, he highlighted comments made during a podcast appearance with the Daily Wire.
“Just as baffling was Mr. Vance’s podcast with the Daily Wire, where he attacked free market, free enterprise, school choice icon Milton Friedman,” Kudlow stated.
“And then, in the same interview, he attacked the equally capitalist, free enterprise, iconic British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, and then later in that interview, he attacked the concept of meritocracy. Huh?”
“President Trump has done all he can to get rid of woke DEI, affirmative action on steroids that was produced by Obama and then Biden, in order to restore the great American principle of merit-based achievement. And Mr. Vance is attacking that?”
The contrast with the political left could not be starker. While conservatives work to preserve economic freedom, radical voices on the other side push an entirely different vision.
These voices champion socialist policies that would seize key industries and reshape American life from the top down.
Kudlow wondered aloud why Vance’s recent positions seemed to echo elements of that worldview.
“Well, I’m sure he means well in his job, and I don’t want this to sound personal, because I’ve always gotten along with him, but, frankly, I do not understand what he’s doing, and I truly believe he needs to step back for a moment, a great reset of his policy priorities, his statements, and his own actions,” Kudlow added.
Right populist voices have long warned against drifting from proven principles that built American prosperity.
