Haley and Trump are rivals within the Republican Party. However, they put a pause on their differences to defeat Kamala Harris in the presidential election.
But Nikki Haley just told Donald Trump this one thing that left him speechless.
In a recent episode of her Sirius XM radio show Nikki Haley Live, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley recounted a significant conversation with Steve Witkoff, the new special envoy to the Middle East and a close advisor to former President Donald Trump.
Haley revealed that Witkoff expressed a desire to leave behind any prior tensions, extending an offer to settle any issues between her and Trump.
“He was like, ‘What do you want? Tell me what you want. Is there anything you want?’ And I said, ‘There’s nothing I want.’ And there wasn’t anything I wanted,” Haley shared on air.
This exchange, she said, symbolized her loyalty to Trump and clarified any lingering doubts.

Haley’s support for Trump, however, wasn’t always assured. When Trump won the Republican nomination, there was initial skepticism about whether Haley would endorse him.
But her speech at the Republican National Convention in July, where she offered Trump a “strong endorsement,” cemented her as a trusted ally to the Republican cause.
Despite backing Trump, Haley has made it clear that she was not interested in a Cabinet position. Recounting her stance on the podcast, she explained, “Basically four times between July and Election Day, I had said that because I meant it.”
She added, “I had no interest in being in [Trump’s] Cabinet. He knew that.”
Just before Haley’s recent podcast episode, Trump took to Truth Social to clarify his stance on the involvement of former allies like Haley and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
In his post, Trump wrote, “I will not be inviting former Ambassador Nikki Haley, or former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, to join the Trump Administration, which is currently in formation.”
Expressing appreciation for their past collaboration, he added, “I very much enjoyed and appreciated working with them previously, and would like to thank them for their service to our Country. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Haley’s influence, however, continues behind the scenes. She disclosed on her show that she has been in contact with Trump’s transition director, Howard Lutnick, sharing her opinions on potential candidates for key roles.
With half of the 26 administrative positions already filled by loyalists, some observers speculate about the possibility of moderate voices making their way into the remaining openings.
Whether or not a shift occurs, Haley’s advisory role emphasizes her impact on the makeup of the administration, even from outside the Cabinet itself. And that may or may not be something MAGA Republicans are enthusiastic about.
