AOC has been a leading voice against Musk’s Twitter takeover. It isn’t doing her any favors with the public.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had a complete meltdown after Elon Musk stated this one fact.
Leftists are struggling to cope with their loss of control over the capacity to filter content on Twitter.
That’s what the Left’s outrage over Musk’s purchase of Twitter is all about.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a well-known left-wing Twitter user who is doing everything she can to undermine the site and harm Musk.
After Musk completed his purchase and began laying off thousands of Twitter employees entrusted with policing content, Ocasio-Cortez began floating conspiracy theories about Musk silencing his political opponents.
“Also my twitter mentions/notifications conveniently aren’t working tonight, so I was informed via text that I seem to have gotten under a certain billionaire’s skin. Just a reminder that money will never buy your way out of insecurity, folks,” Ocasio-Cortez posted on Twitter.
Ocasio-Cortez claimed she had been “shadow banned,” which is when Twitter hides your tweets from your followers and your interactions cease.
Then Ocasio-Cortez tweeted that Musk had disabled her account.
Mark Ruffalo, who plays the Hulk in the famous Marvel film franchise, has suggested that Musk should relinquish ownership of the platform.
“Elon. Please—for the love of decency—get off Twitter, hand the keys over to someone who does this as an actual job, and get on with running Tesla and SpaceX. You are destroying your credibility. It’s just not a good look,” Ruffalo posted on Twitter.

Elon Musk was not going to let these outrageous claims go unchallenged.
Musk responded to Ruffalo by saying that Ocasio-Cortez was ignorant.
“Hot take: not everything AOC says is 100% accurate,” Musk shot back.
Leftists argued that there was no filtering on Twitter and that conservatives who suggested otherwise were conspiracy theorists.
But, as soon as Musk took over Twitter and declared his want to restore certain free speech safeguards, the Left’s rage tantrum proved conservatives were correct all along.
