Leading Democrat rips his party a new one with this latest statement

Democrats are completely fractured. So many of them are at odds with one another.

And a leading Democrat ripped his party a new one with this latest statement.

Senator John Fetterman from Pennsylvania just dropped some hard truths on NewsNation’s “Cuomo” show, blasting his own Democratic Party for getting everything wrong since the brutal October 7 terrorist attacks. It’s refreshing to hear a Democrat finally call out the nonsense that’s been dominating the left’s foreign policy playbook.

Fetterman didn’t hold back, pointing out how the party’s obsession with ceasefires has been a total disaster. He argued that pushing Israel to stand down would have left terrorists stronger and more dangerous.

In his own words: “[T]he [Democratic] mindset has been absolutely wrong since 10/7. They have called for a ceasefire again and again and again throughout 2024 and to pander to the fringe. If they would have forced [Israel] into a ceasefire, Hamas would still be functional, Hezbollah would still be a force capability, and Iran probably could have even acquired a nuclear weapon by now.”

That’s a mic-drop moment right there. Fetterman is spot on—caving to radical demands would have empowered Hamas to keep launching rockets and holding hostages.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah, backed by Iran, would still be raining missiles on innocent civilians without facing real consequences. The Democrats’ approach has basically been a gift to these terror outfits.

And don’t get started on Iran. Fetterman warns that a premature ceasefire could have given Tehran the breathing room to go nuclear, turning the Middle East into an even bigger powder keg.

America’s security is tied to Israel’s fight against these threats. Weak policies from the left put us all at risk, emboldening enemies who hate freedom and our way of life.

Fetterman then posed a question that’s long overdue for his party: “Can’t we just get tired of — are we tired of being wrong, consistently, on the region?”

It’s about time someone asked that. The Democrats have been stumbling through Middle East issues for years, from appeasing Iran to ignoring the real dangers of radical Islam.

This isn’t just politics; it’s life and death. Fetterman’s frustration highlights how out of touch the party’s leadership has become, chasing votes from the far-left edges instead of standing firm.

He also touched on the elephant in the room: Democrats are so allergic to anything that sounds like agreeing with Donald Trump that they’d rather stick with failed ideas.

Fetterman’s comments are a rare glimmer of sanity in a party that’s been hijacked by activists who prioritize protests over practical security.

If more Democrats listened to him, maybe we’d see real progress in crushing terrorism instead of endless hand-wringing and virtue signaling.
