Pentagon in Turmoil Over Trump Administration’s Plans to Target ‘Woke’ Military Leaders
The Pentagon is reportedly in chaos as senior military officials brace for sweeping changes under the incoming Trump administration. According to sources, the administration plans to remove top military leaders who prioritized diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) over combat readiness.
One insider described the atmosphere as resembling a hornet’s nest being kicked over, adding that “DEI pages are starting to disappear off the main websites.” The source continued, “They’re being archived as we speak. They are full-bore focused on cleaning up anything DEI-related.”
The anxiety among senior military officials is palpable. Another source claimed that many are scrambling to determine if they’re on a potential list of leaders to be ousted. “They are in panic mode,” the source said.
Executive Order to Target DEI Advocates
The Trump transition team has reportedly begun compiling names of senior officers who pushed DEI initiatives. According to one source familiar with the effort, an executive order has already been drafted to establish a panel tasked with recommending these officers for dismissal. The source confirmed that the order is “definitely” heading to Trump’s desk, though it may still be undergoing revisions.
“This is for real. This [EO] has made the cut,” the source said, noting that the document is being refined in consultation with incoming Pentagon leadership.
Key Advocates Leading the Effort
The initiative has enlisted the help of prominent whistleblowers, including retired Army Lt. Col. Pete “Doc” Chambers and retired Army Chief Warrant Officer 2 Samuel Shoemate. Both men have been vocal critics of what they describe as woke policies within the military. Chambers, a 39-year Army veteran, left the service after being told not to provide informed consent to his troops regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. Shoemate, meanwhile, gained attention for running a whistleblower website and advocating for troops who opposed the vaccine mandate.
In an interview, Shoemate explained that the focus of the executive order is firmly on DEI, not COVID policies. “They are interested full speed on DEI,” he said. “They want to lop off the head of the Marxist snake. And so that’s the primary criteria that I’m trying to focus on.”
A Shift in Military Priorities
Sources emphasize that the executive order aims to refocus the U.S. military on traditional priorities, such as national security and combat readiness. “The purpose of the EO is to restore the military leadership focus on keeping the country safe and, when necessary, fighting the country’s wars… not these extraneous factors [such as] ‘white rage’ and gender identity,” one insider explained.
The drafting team behind the order reportedly includes individuals with deep expertise in military policy and law. “It was people who know what they’re talking about,” the source said.
Names Already Emerging
Shoemate and his network of service members and veterans are working to identify senior officers who aggressively promoted DEI policies. While Shoemate acknowledges there are some leaders who merely followed directives, the focus is on those who were particularly active in advancing DEI initiatives or retaliated against troops over issues like the COVID vaccine mandate.
Shoemate said the effort has already uncovered more than a dozen names from the Navy alone, with more being look for in the Air Force and the Army. Among those expected to be targeted is Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Charles “CQ” Brown, a vocal proponent of DEI.
“Trump’s taking out the chairman. That’s gonna happen,” Shoemate stated confidently.
As the transition unfolds, the military appears braced for significant changes, with sources suggesting this marks a pivotal shift away from radical Leftist policies and back toward traditional defense priorities.
