The mainstream media is doing their best to push the narrative against Trump. But now the President is fighting back.
And Trump’s Border Czar went on CNN and started throwing punches.
Border Czar Tom Homan didn’t hold back during an interview with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on Monday night, where he forcefully defended the Trump administration’s bold and much-needed mass deportation operation.
In a heated exchange on *The Source*, Homan shut down Collins’ attempts to cast doubt on ICE’s strategy of targeting illegal aliens who have been hiding out in so-called “safe spaces” like schools, churches, and hospitals.
Collins pressed Homan, questioning what she framed as an unprecedented move. “What is the standard, I guess, to go into an elementary school?” she asked. “Because what we had heard from immigration advocates is that this is going to provide a chilling effect to parents in the school drop-off line or something of that matter.”
Homan, known for his no-nonsense approach to border enforcement, didn’t hesitate to dismantle her premise.
“It shouldn’t be a chilling effect unless your child is a terrorist or a public safety threat,” he responded.
“If they are a public safety threat, a national security threat, they should be chilled. They should be afraid, because we’re looking for them.”
Homan’s response laid bare the administration’s unwavering focus on protecting American citizens. Instead of bending to the left-wing media narrative, he reminded viewers of the real priorities: ensuring the safety of the public and defending the rule of law.
When Collins tried to pivot the discussion to parents who are illegal aliens, Homan wasn’t about to back down.
“They’re not off the table either. I mean, they’re in the country illegally, they have got a problem,” Homan said firmly.
He continued, calling out the double standard that seems to be tolerated by open-border advocates. “I mean, it’s not OK — look, we — it’s not OK to enter this country illegally. It’s a crime. And that’s the way it’s supposed to be. I wouldn’t feel comfortable if I’m in Switzerland illegally. So we’re going to enforce the laws of this country.”
Homan made it clear that under President Trump’s leadership, national security threats and public safety risks won’t find safe havens anywhere in the United States. “National security threats and public safety threats have no safe haven in this country, and we will go where we got to go,” he added.
This exchange highlights the Trump administration’s unwavering resolve to prioritize the safety of American families over political correctness.
While the mainstream media continues to parrot immigration advocacy talking points, Homan and the president are laser-focused on delivering results.
President Trump’s immigration policies have not only restored a sense of law and order but have also sent a strong message to those who think they can flout the nation’s laws with impunity.
The era of turning a blind eye to illegal immigration is over, and the administration is making it abundantly clear: America is a nation of laws, and those laws will be enforced.
Under Trump’s leadership, border security is no longer an afterthought. With strong allies like Homan at the helm, the administration is proving that it’s not afraid to tackle difficult issues head-on, even when it ruffles feathers in the media or among activist groups. The focus remains squarely on protecting Americans and upholding the sovereignty of the United States.
