Major Democrat has egg on his face after he was caught in a stunning lie

Hakeem Jeffries

Democrats have a well-earned reputation for double standards. They live by the “rules for thee but not for me” mindset.

But now this major Democrat has egg all over his face after he was caught in this big lie.

Democrats overwhelmingly chose New York Congressman Hakeem Jeffries to be their new House Minority Leader.

Republicans slammed the choice as unwise right away.

Even RINO Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell blasted Jeffries as an election denier for his previous comments on the 2016 Presidential election’s legitimacy.

“The newly elected incoming leader of House Democrats is a past election denier who basically said the 2016 election was ‘illegitimate’ and suggested that we had a ‘fake President,’” McConnell said.

“He’s also mounted reckless attacks on our independent judiciary and said that Justices who he didn’t like have ‘zero legitimacy.’”

Indeed, Jeffries harmed democracy and attempted to undermine the American government by falsely alleging that Donald Trump was a phony President and that the 2016 election was illegal.

Jeffries contributed to the dissemination of the Big Lie that Trump and the Russians conspired to steal the presidency.

The corporate-controlled media rushed to Jeffries’ defense, with TIME Magazine printing a ludicrous story suggesting that election denial is different when Democrats do it, and hence acceptable.

“To label Jeffries as a ‘election skeptic’ is deceptive and conflates separate problems. Casting baseless doubt on the outcome of an election is irresponsible when done by either party,” said Rachel Orey, associate director of the Bipartisan Policy Center’s Elections Project.

“But I think it’s important to remember that the culture around elections was quite different before 2020,” TIME Magazine’s Jasmine Aguilera wrote.

The appointment of Jeffries, followed by the corporate-controlled media’s endorsement of his lies, simply demonstrated how flimsy Democrats’ assertions that election-denying Republicans would terminate American democracy in the Midterms were.

It was little more than a partisan talking point that Democrats and the media were well aware had no basis in truth.
